Tucked away in New Adana, is a fabulous little outdoor Italian café called, Aisha Italian Restaurant. The café is located in a very walkable area of New Adana off of Ataturk Cad, but finding a parking space has always been a challenge in this busy, upscale area of the city. Parking, when available, can be done on Ataturk Cad, or any of the alleyways off of Ataturk.

We found this restaurant while walking around New Adana one day. We were walking along the west side of Ataturk Cad between the intersections of Vali Volu Cad and Mithat Saraçoğlu Cd, and saw a cove of restaurants and shops. Inside the cove, we were really thrilled to see an Italian café! It came on one of those days when you’re just not sure if you can eat another doner, and the thought of a mixed grill kabob is the least appetizing item in existence. Italian style cuisine was just what we needed to clear our Turkish food palates.

I have visited Aisha for lunch a few times now, and it is always busy, but I’ve never had a problem getting a table. All of the seating is outdoors, but it is covered and there are fans. Aisha is not a luxurious environment, but it is very comfortable, quiet and inviting. The owner speaks fantastic English, and was very excited about the prospects of new visitors coming to visit from Incirlik. His take on Italian food was very delicious, and he also had a few Mexican choices as well. Each entrée is served with a side of rice, fries and a dinner roll. Which makes a lot of food for lunch!

The restaurant welcomes children, but they do not offer any ‘baby seats.’ We brought our toddlers on our first visit, and our stroller came in very handy so that the baby could sit in the stroller while we ate. At one point during the meal, my toddler was given free fries and rolls during the meal by the owner. We didn’t ask for them, but it was a very sweet gesture by the owner.

Their spicy sweet corn pizza was delicious! Corn is not the first thing that comes to mind when ordering a pizza, but the owner of the restaurant assured me it was going to be good. So, I decided it give it a try and I’m glad I did because it was quite tasty!!
