I went to a great little restaurant called Braai Republic in Itaewon with friends the other day, and I thought I’d share a quick review for everyone.
It’s a South African restaurant, with decor to match, and definitely caters to those who love meat. “Braai”is the South African word for BBQ, so there are a nice selection of meat pies, sausages, and lamb chops to choose from.
I had the Bangers and Mash on this visit – great plate and I love the maple flavored dipping sauce.
One friend had the spiced pork pie with curried green beans – she loved it!
Two other friends shared a Meat Platter – very tasty and definitely enough for the two of them.
Braai Republic has a great atmosphere, very friendly staff, and was a fun place to eat with friends.
