We’ve got a quite a few burger places up on the blog already like Smackbull Burger and Cozy, but I had heard about Tiko since I arrived here in 2013 and still had not tried it. It’s been on my list of things to do for some time now, but I finally was able to stop in for lunch last week.
If you love burgers, you will love Tiko! They have several fun burgers on the menu to choose from –the “Mush Burger” with a generous helping of caramelized onions and grilled tomatoes or one of my American favorites, the Blue Cheese Burger and a local burger, the Acili Adana (Spicy Adana) loaded with spicy peppers and jalapenos.
And if you’re not in the mood for a burger, try a jumbo hotdog or a sandwich. I actually tried the Tavuklu Sandvic, and it reminded me of one of my favorite BBQ sandwiches back in the States. Fantastic.
Even for the vegetarians, there are several salad options on the menu.

The prices range from 15-20TL for burgers, 13-15 TL for a jumbo hot dog, and 11-14 TL for sandwiches.
Be sure to try their “Limonata” or lemonade. It got rave reviews from the group of friends I was with today.
Tiko is located off of Ataturk Street in New Adana. The small alley street that the restaurant is on makes it challenging to find parking, but the restaurant does provide valet parking if the few parking spots in front of the restaurant are taken (look for their parking cones). If you want valet, you’ll just pull up in front of the restaurant and ask for it.
Other parking options include parking on Ataturk Street (anywhere you can find a spot) or I like to park over near Bonjour on Toros Cad and walk about ¼ mile.
